Shadow von Athena is a gorgeous 2-3 year old German Shepherd mix. With beautiful markings, mid-sized Shadow has a middle energy level, seems housebroken and knows "sit" and "down" and how to be gentle with treats. From a rural area, he can be a bit shy or unsure at first with new people, but given a little time he warms up and shows his sweet side. He really loves his human friends at the rescue, leaning in while being petted, and says more ear scratches please. Shadow does have one other request: he asked us to find a home for him with another friendly pup. He previously  lived with another dog. And he is friendly and sociable with dogs, whether meeting them while out on a walk or off-leash in a doggy playgroups, and he shares his run with another dog.
